Treat school property in a respectful manner Be Responsible Have a mindset ready for learning. Complete assigned work. Use the entire class period. Observe the no touch policy. Walk on the right side of the hallway/stairway. Don't block lockers or intersections. Observe the no touch policy. Throw your trash and any trash left behind by others in the garbage. Recycle. Observe the no touch policy. Be Reliable Turn in work on time. Be honest. Walk with a purpose. Make every effort possible to be on time to each class. Practice patience. Be polite. Use conversation voices. Notify an adult of any spills. Stay in areas designated for students. Don't take food or drink outside. Be Ready Come prepared with materials. Go to your locker only during designated times: before school, during break, before and after lunch, before 9th period, after school. Make your lunch selection quickly in order to keep the line moving. When the bell rings to reenter the building, do so in an orderly manner. Use entrances designated for your grade level. Don't block entryways.

A. During projects Ms. C. will NOT provide glue, sharpies, or scissors. B. You will NOT be given pencil, paper, or sharpies by Ms. C. C. Binders stay under your desk until pre- dismissal, don’t stop working early. D. Heading= name (first and last), date, period, and assignment. E. Leaders start the class.

A. It will be silent in here at the tardy bell. B. No backpacks, no packing up early. C. Sharpen pencils before class. D. Be nice and be kind.

A. Dress code. B. No gum. C. Tardies are enforced. D. You must be in your seat when the bell rings, not racing to your seat. E. No leaving the classroom unless you have your agenda and a pass, you fill them out before I sign them.

A. Assignments are due on time. One day late= ___% After the cut off date= 0 (no credit) Assignments are late if turned in after we pass them up. This includes at the end of period or day= all late. Late work takes Ms. C. five times more effort to grade. It is always the last thing I grade.

B. Absent? Check the board, look up date you were absent, fill in your agenda, see me before or after school, at lunch, in the hall, etc. C. You are responsible for make-up work and communicating with the teacher. Hey, I’ll listen to you every time.

Supplies: +1:00 timed. 1. Come into class, sit down. 2. Read the board. 3. Get all your supplies out first. Clear your desk. 4. Do the warm up.

-1:00 Talking after the tardy bell. Each time a student blurts out. Off task. Packing up early. Inappropriate comments.

Bonus: +1:00 Acts of Kindness in class/hallway. No fake outs. Trivia. Using Word of the Week.

Time is added up on Thursday after school. All classes will get PAT. The class with the most time goes on “Champions” list. The most champs at end of the quarter = PARTY! Champs: 1, 2, 7, 5, 5, 4, 3, 2, 5

 DO NOT PUT YOUR STRESS ON MS. C.  Ms. C. is not your parent, and will not solve the problem for you after you choose not to do the work.  Tell Ms. C. only good news. I’m done.  OWN YOUR CHOICES.  Excuse: My printer broke.  Take ownership: I will turn it in to you tomorrow.  Excuse: I don’t have a computer.  Take ownership: I will type it in the library at lunch.  Excuse: My family was really busy.  Take ownership: I will turn it in to you tomorrow.
