eCommerce Implementation Timeline Average Timeline Integration – 8 weeks from date contract is signed with ITN Portal – 2 weeks from date contract is signed with ITN RDC Timeline Integrated ASN – Testing must begin 8 weeks prior to PO Cut Date Portal ASN – Testing must begin 6 weeks prior to PO Cut Date ITN Training – REQUIRED 4 weeks prior to PO Cut Date License Plate Number (LPN) Labels – 3 weeks prior to PO Cut Date Supplier LIVE Date – 1 week prior to PO Cut Date Now the question becomes, how long will it take to implement EDI. We have listed some timelines below to assist you with this. The average timeline Integration - 8 weeks from the date the contract is signed with iTrade Network Portal – 2 weeks from the date the contract is signed with iTrade Network Again, Portal which is the web base application consists of one week for implementing your catalog and training. The remaining time is allocated for the move into production. If you anticipate providing product to the RDC, the next timeline applies to you. Integrated ASN Testing must begin 8 weeks prior to PO Cut Date Portal ASN – Testing must begin 6 weeks prior to PO cut Date Please be aware that each potential ship point will need to be tested and certified for both the ASNs and LPNs. iTrade Network training is required regardless of if you are Integrated or Portal and it is required 4 weeks prior to the PO cut date. License Plates or LPN labels are due 3 weeks prior to the PO cut date. Supplier Live date is set 1 week prior to the PO cut date. We have included an example table below for your reference.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) Does Sysco own ITN? No, we are a customer of iTradeNetwork. Can brokers join ITN? Yes, there are two different types of broker contracts: Passive – Viewing access only. (BSCC’s cost not shown) Active – Ability to manipulate the orders prior to receipt. Will ITN provide me with a price list of their fees? No, fees are calculated on an individual supplier basis.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) Can ITN provide a cost for Foodservice, Produce and Retail? Yes. May I contact ITN directly with questions if I am not currently under contract with them? Yes, their number is (925) 660-1111. What value will ITN provide to me? I am currently trading manually just fine. Data Synchronization is the foundation of a successful order process. They offer order management validation, as well as, automating your manual processes thereby reducing the opportunity for human error. 13
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) Do I have to use iTradeNetwork in order to connect with Sysco via EDI or can I establish a direct connection? All EDI transactions must pass thru iTradeNetwork as they are our one source solution. Does BSCC offer any additional benefits in trading electronically? Dedicated eCommerce resources. 855 Auto Apply functionality allows for Cooperative Billed Suppliers to update quantities, ship dates and arrival dates on delivered orders, within BSCC’s tolerance. The use of the 832 Price Catalog if you change your pricing frequently; such as on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
