Bengal tiger behavior Mothers have at most 5 cubs, and each is 2 pounds. For 2 months the cubs drink their mothers milk, but after that they eat meat. After 18 months of age the cubs hunt on their own. Also a Bengal tiger can eat up to 40 pounds of food. A Bengal tiger eats monkeys and frogs for little stuff but for a whole meal they may eat wild pigs and deer.
