The Scriptures Inspired We believe that all the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts. They are the infallible rule of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12)

The One True Godhead We believe God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Thessalonians 1:2; John 1:1; Acts 5:3-4)

Jesus Christ We believe Jesus Christ is God's Son. He was born of a virgin as both God and man, lived a sinless life, died to atone for the sins of human beings, was buried, arose from the grave, ascended into heaven and will literally return to earth. (Mark 1:1; Luke 1:26-35; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 1:9-11)

“Though the reconstructions vary, they generally include these basic points: Jesus was a Jewish teacher who attracted a small following of Galileans and, after a period of preaching, was crucified by the Romans in Judaea Province during the governorship of Pontius Pilate.”

"There are aspects of the crucifixion narratives that stand up to historical scrutiny, as embodying historical fact rather than Christian theology.

As one salient example: all of our accounts agree that Jesus was crucified on the order of the Roman governor Pontius Pilate." Bart D. Ehrman. Peter, Paul, and Mary Magdalene. Oxford University Press US, Pages

We believe Jesus Christ is God's Son. Mark 1:1

1 The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Mark 1:1 Pg. 707

He was born of a virgin as both God and man, Luke 1:26-35

Luke 1:26-35 Pg In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you."

Luke 1:26-35 Pg Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. 31 You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus.

Luke 1:26-35 Pg He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of his father David, 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; His kingdom will never end."

Luke 1:26-35 Pg "How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?" 35 The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

Lived a sinless life, Hebrews 4:15

Hebrews 4:15 Pg For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin.

Died to atone for the sins of human beings, was buried, and rose from the grave, Matt.16:21, Mk. 8:31

Matthew 16:21 Pg From that time on Jesus began to explain to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that He must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.

Mark 8:31 Pg He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that He must be killed and after three days rise again.

Ascended into heaven and will literally return to earth. Acts 1:9-11

Acts 1: After He said this, He was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid Him from their sight. 10 They were looking intently up into the sky as He was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.

Acts 1: "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven."
