Mini Project Yeah.

Studio Roles Today (maybe yesterday). We took a look at different positions in the studio and some of the responsibilities that go along with it. There are dozens of different responsibilities that each job has that others rely on.

Roles Director Technical Director Camera Operator Producer Floor Director On Air Personality Sound Engineer Graphics/Character Gen.Audio Engineer Get into groups of two, and leave the rest up to fate. Make sure to focus on job roles related to Television, and broadcast news

For this project, I want YOU to create a powerpoint presentation that highlights the following: An educational career path What sort of college courses or experience is needed What are some of the top schools to attend (and the cost) Opportunities for employment What companies can they apply to? Do they need to work their way up in the company? What is their average salary? Work Duties What are their work responsibilities? What does a typical work day look like? (hour by hour if possible) Coworkers Who do they work along with the most?

Guidelines PPT needs to be at least slides, not including title slide. Should be visually appealing (photos, videos) Presentation needs to be at least 3-5 minutes long, and everyone must be a part of it. Should be a career overview (previous page) Due end of class on Wednesday Presentation on Thursday
