My Great-Grandparents: The Harris Side Ina Stevens Warrick was born on November 8, She had 9 brothers and sisters. This is my mom’s grandmother and my great-grandmother. She worked at a local department store called Weil’s. She passed away on June 12, Luby Albert Warrick was born on February 3, This is my mom’s grandpa and my great- grandpa. He was a doctor. He was the only doctor in the small town of Grantham,NC, where he and my great-grandma lived. My mom never met her grandpa because he passed away before she was born. He passed away on March 1, 1960.

William Alton Harris, Sr. was born on March 25, He had 7 brothers and sisters. He is my grandpa’s dad and my great-grandpa. He had a lot of different jobs; no major jobs. He traveled to a lot of different places and would do different things. He passed away on December 22, Thelma Robbins Harris was born on August 31, She had 7 brothers and sisters. She is my grandpa’s mom and my great-grandma. She owned her own beauty shop right beside her house. She passed away on May 6, 1981.

William Alton Harris, Jr. was born on November 19, He had only one brother. This is my mom’s dad and my grandpa. He joined the National Guard and was in the 105 th Medical Battalion. He went into the real estate business for himself. He was a real estate broker and contractor. Linda Warrick Harris was born on February 22, She has 2 brothers and 1 sister. This is my mom’s mom and my grandma. She taught elementary school in Goldsboro, NC for 34 years. She and my grandpa have a total of 6 cats in their home.

Julie Harris Barker was born on November 1, She is the daughter of Linda and William Harris, the sister of Lyn Lange, and my mom. She is a Graphic Designer for Kimley- Horn and Associates in Cary, NC. She married Tracey Barker and had two children; my sister and me. Lynda Whitman Lange was born July on July 7, She is my mom’s only sister. She is 3 years younger than my mom. She worked in real estate when she lived in Orlando, FL and she is now getting her real estate license for the state of NC. She recently married Kevin Lange and they have no kids.

My Great-Grandparents: The Barker Side James Harvey Barker was born on November 3, This is my grandpa’s dad and my great-grandpa. He was a farmer most of his life and fought in WW1 in England and France. He died on February 10, Lucille Elizabeth Wells was born on February 6, This is my grandpa’s mom and my great-grandma. Together with my great-grandpa, they had 10 children. She died in May of 1979.

Nancy Louise Dunkley was born October 29, She is my grandma’s mom and my great-grandmother. She was a housewife during her married life. Together she and my great- grandpa had two girls. She died on January 20, Carl Cyrus Clayton was born on October 6, He is my grandma’s dad and my great-grandpa. He was a farmer most of his life. He died on August 31, 1978.

Lela Clayton Barker was born on April 10, She has only one sister. She is my dad’ s mom and my grandma. She was an elementary sch00l teacher for 38 years. She married her high school sweetheart and together they had 3 children. William Henry Barker was born on July 19, He has 9 brothers and sisters. He is my dad’s dad and my grandpa. He was the Chief Patrolman of Hyco Lake in Roxboro, NC for 25 years. He has had 3 major surgeries in He married his high school sweetheart, Lela Barker.

Tracey Clayton Barker was born on August 24, He is the son of William and Lela Barker, the younger brother of Deborah and Hank Barker, and my daddy. He is a Lieutenant officer for the Town of Cary Police Department in Cary, NC. He married my mom, Julie Barker, and they had my sister and me. Deborah Louise Barker was born on January 9, She is my dad’s older sister. She is the Clerk of Court in Roxboro, NC. She is not married and has no children. William Henry Barker, Jr. was born on May 27, He is my dad’s older brother. He is the Administrative Assistant for an elementary school in Roxboro. He married Angela Barker and they have no children.

The Last of the Barker Line Morgan Lee Barker was born on November 29, I have one sister; Blakely Barker. I have played volleyball for 7 years and I am going on my 8 th year. I currently play for the UNCC Volleyball team. I am majoring in Pre-Biology. My ultimate goal right now is to become a veterinarian. Blakely Anne Barker was born on September 12 th She is my younger sister. She is about 3 years and 8 months younger than me. She has played volleyball for 4 years. She has also been surfing for 2 years now; going on 3. My sister and I are the only grandchildren of my immediate family.
