Meanings: Blue- Stands for the blue color of the sky White-Stands for peace, wisdom, and happiness Red- Stands for the blood that was split by martyrs for independence and the warmth and generosity of the people.

Costa Rica is in Central America. It’s capital San Jose is right in the middle of the country. Costa Rica's neighbors are Nicaragua and Panama.

The beaches of Costa Rica are some of the most beautiful in the world.

1. Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve- It usually has a humidity level of 100% and is home to more than 3000 species of animals and plants. 2. Arenal Volcanos and Hot Springs- It’s a tropical paradise where you can calm your body and mind.

The country gained their independence quietly from Spain in After they gained their independence from Spain they briefly joined Mexico but then left and became apart of Central American Federation in Then they became their own country and had their own independence. They became apart of the Spanish rule in the sixteenth century.

I would love to visit the country of Costa Rica because the scenery is beautiful and there is so much history about the country that I want to learn about. I want to experience some of the celebrations that they have because they all have such a great meaning behind them. I also want to meet the people that live there because they are described as warm and friendly people.
