Ancient Greece By John Turner

Food The ancient Greeks ate fruit and vegetables they also eat squid and lots more.

Homes The Ancient Greeks homes have tiles or straw on the roof. They had furniture made of wood covered by fabric.

Farming One of the most common jobs in ancient Greece was farming.

Ancient Olympics The Greece invented the Olympics and the torch. It looked like a pole with a saucepan on top.

The Pantheon The pantheon is the home of Zeus. He is the king of ancient Greeks. Zeus lived on top of mount Olympus.

Gods and Goddess The ancient Greeks had a lot of gods,but Zeus was the king of all Gods and Goddess and when he got cross he would send a bolt of lightning.

War at sea If they had a war at sea they would crash in to each other as they had a metal cap on the end of each boat. The boats were rowed by lots of slaves and they also used wind power to help them.

Weapons The weapons they used were spears, swords shields and lots more.

The Battle of Troy. The favourite battle of Troy was a wooden horse that went into the city full of soldiers.

Inventions The ancient Greeks invented fire engines, cranes and lost more. Water clocks were very useful so they could tell the time. There was a pot of water on the top and another at the bottom. In the bottom one was a pole with a hook on the end.

Theatre There were lost of plays in ancient Greece

Clothes Ancient Greeks worn a tunic.The girls worn the same as the boys but it was longer.

Weather The weather was sunny and very dry all year
