Sukuma Wiki : Along with ugali, sukuma wiki (known as collard greens in English) is a staple vegetable in the Kenyan diet. It is normally sliced very thin, and fried in oil, along with onions and tomatoes. Many Kenyans eat ugali and sukuma wiki as a standard meal.

Maharagwe: is a delicious Kenyan dish made with kidney beans in a coconut curry soup. The bean stew is best when eaten with a starch like rice or ugali.

Traditional Clothing Although most Kenyans wear Western-style clothing, Kenya has a rich cultural heritage when it comes to dress. With more than 40 different ethnic groups living within the country's borders, this is to be expected. From emblematic Masai blankets to the Muslim-influenced dress of coastal areas, Kenyan clothing varies widely.

Maasai woman in traditional clothes The Maasais live only on the Tanzania-Kenya border, along the Great Rift Valley on semi-arid and arid lands. They have been deported from their best traditional grazing lands, that are now known as the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the Amboseli National Park, and other protected forests. The Maasai comprise 5 clans. They have reputation of fierce warriors. But they are traditionally seminomadic, and live off their cattle almost exclusively

Traditional Turkana Dress The Turkanas, another nomadic group that lives in northern Kenya, also values customary dress. The women of the Turkana tribe wear yorfas, which are sheepskins or goatskins dyed red or black. The yorfas are then kept in place with a leather cord and rope belt. Turkana men wear their wraps as tunics. They also carry several objects like wrist knives, stools, and multiple walking sticks. The men and women wear a variety of brightly colored objects around their necks, and the women sport special necklaces called "obolio" when they reach the age when they can marry. In addition, the women create Mohawks in their hair and adorn them with beads.
