 Get out your paper(s) you picked up on the way into class  We first need to create a name for our book  Think of something more creative than mine!  Make sure it follows the theme of European Exploration SO LET’S BEGIN!

 We must create a Table of Contents page to organize our notes, and our thoughts  That will go on page number 1 & 2  Next, we must write an introduction to our book TABLE OF CONTENTS

 The book will talk about European Exploration from the beginning of CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS to the establishment of SPANISH MISSIONS.  We will identify the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, AND WHY the Europeans discovered Texas  Our OBJECTIVE of writing this book is to provide the reader with a better understanding of how Texas was first DISCOVERED and where it’s history began  Write something on the blank space at the bottom to describe the author (YOU!)  Don’t forget to write a dedication page on the left side!
