David killed Goliath. King Saul kept David close. Jonathan, Saul's son, became David's friend.

Jonathan loved David as himself. He even made a covenant with David. He was willing to give David everything he had.

Saul became jealous of David enough to want to kill him. David went to Jonathan for. Jonathan was shocked, but willing to help. They came up with a plan.
