Career Plan Development Your role as a workforce development professional is to help job seekers – Strategically plan for a career – Become more career focused Job seekers have to be – Willing to change – Creative in their approach – Logical in their analysis

Career Plan Development Change is “unknown” and can be scary You, as a workforce professional, will have to help job seekers move outside their comfort zone by – Helping customers see the positive aspects of their career change – Helping customers be creative in their approach to career changes through exploration – Helping customers logically examine the information from assessments and career research to make solid and attainable decisions
