Salt and Water By: Steph

What Type Of Mixture is Saltwater? Saltwater is a Homogeneous Mixture because only one of the two types of particles are visible.

Separation: Evaporation Boil the solution so that the water evaporates and leaves the salt behind as a solid

Separation: Distillation Distillation is used when you want to recover both the water and the salt. To do this the salty water is heated and the vapor that comes off is condensed back into a liquid.

What Are the Different parts of the Mixture Used for? Salt  Food Seasoning  Melts ice on roads  Canning Food  Soap Making  Water Softening  Aluminum Purification  Swimming Pools Water  Drinking  Bathing  Swimming  Cleaning  Cooking  Habitat for fish  Farming
