 A Large issue in China is the use of the natural resources and environmental problems produced by their misuse and byproducts.  Read the artcle:  Johnson: China faces ‘very grave’ environmental situation, officials say (NY Times)  Or  China pollution ‘threaten growth’ (BBC)  We will be brainstorming all the environmental issues mentioned in the articles

 In your Journal, write a letter of concern as though you are writing to the Chinese government. You can choose to address all of the concerns, or focus on one or two of the issues. Cover these main points:  Make it clear why you are writing the letter  What is the main issue of the letter  Explain details to fully explain the issue  Describe what caused the environmental issue  Fully describe the environmental impact
