Window Shopping

Oh My Ghoul “That was delicious!” said Venus relaxed. “I’ll say!” replied Robecca. “What’s the matter?” Venus was just standing there, mouth wide open. “Oh my ghoul!” She mumbled just enough for any one close by to hear. Robecca looked enormously perplexed, but Venus didn’t notice. She sprinted straight to the window of a shop. As if she was about to miss a bus.

$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$ “What are you… Awwww!” “Aren’t they cute?” asked Venus. “Which one are you looking at?” They were standing at the window of a pet shop, but not for long, Robecca went bursting in followed by Venus. She zoomed past the pets they were looking at which were a robot penguin, and a plant alien. “How much for the penguin?” she asked. “6 finggobbs,” he said shallowly. “What about the plant?” Venus asked hastily. “That monstrosity? Please, just take him!” he said desperately.

Perfect Venus was astonished at the very words of the shopkeeper. “How could any one give away such a beautiful creature?” she thought to herself. She turned to Robecca who looked extremely crestfallen. She thought, “If I give the shopkeeper a tip about as much as Robecca was priced for her penguin, I won’t just make the shop more money, but also satisfy Robecca, and myself. So she did what here roots told her to do. They both brought home their pets in a different way than another and for a moment everything was perfect. * * * Then that moment ended. For the pets anyway.

The reason why it wasn’t perfect for the pets is because they were best friends. They couldn’t stand being away from each other. As you could imagine their owners noticed soon enough. Venus was the first to notice so she called Robecca, “ I agree, Penny doesn’t seem happy at all.” “Neither does Chewlian*.” “Well they were really close in the store window.” “They must want to have a play day!” exclaimed Venus. “ How about the park on Saturday?” “ Deal!” Robecca shrieked. So on the last day of the week they went to the park for the reunion. “Aren’t they cute?” Robecca said softly. While they were watching them they thought they were the most innocent creatures in the monster world. *Chewlian is the plant and Penny is the penguin

At least that’s what she thought. They weren’t as innocent as they seemed…… “Remember when you nearly bit off his hand? That was the best!” exclaimed Penny. “ Darn tootin’, that walnut head tasted worse than a sweaty centaur in the middle of June!” exclaimed Chewlian.(Chew for short) So what’s your favorite thing about your new owner?” asked Penny. “Mine changes my pot every week! The lovely also waters, prunes, fertilizes, and tills me soil,” Chew said boastfully. “Well, mine tightens my bolts, polishes my copper, and gives me flying lessons every day!” Chew didn’t now much about the other stuff; but he thought that flying sounded spooktacular! That is until he saw what kind of flying and decided that it would be better if he kept his leaves were they belong.

And so they both went home happy that they got to meet again. When they got home both of them did the usual thing and at the exact same time they thought of the exact same thing, Mother* knows what is best for me and my needs. *or in this case owner The End The End
