STRENGHTENING WORKING WOMEN’S CAPACITIES AND NETWORKING IN WESTERN BALKANS Specific objective The project is aimed to better structuring the potential power of working women in trade unions and NGOs raise its profile in internal decision making and make trade union policies more gender sensitive in the political exchange with public authorities in Balkan countries

STRENGHTENING WORKING WOMEN’S CAPACITIES AND NETWORKING IN WESTERN BALKANS Activities Are aimed to strengthening the existing women’s networks and facilitate the intercultural dialogue and relations between NGOs Reinforce the professional capacity of women networks, raise analitical skills, experts capacities and mobilization capacity of women organizations Develop strategic orientation on gender mainstreaming; regional awareness raising of the importance of gender equality to economic development and social dialogue Promote women in decision making expert/policy development positions, changing organizational culture towards gender sensitive patters of inter- action

STRENGHTENING WORKING WOMEN’S CAPACITIES AND NETWORKING IN WESTERN BALKANS Main Activities campaining As results of the 5 national training the women’s networks in the unions start implementing the campaigns about the main items they decided upon. Partner organizations will realize: 5 national campaigns on women rights (raise awareness in the companies to the workers women about conciliation of private and working life, improving decisional making positions for women in the work place, face salary gap…); Production and distribution of flyers and brochures; Dissemination of a booklet about the results of the project (best practices).
