 The school was founded on 28 February 1887 and started lessons on 2 March 1887  Since that time it has been offering a variety of vocational training courses  It moved house and was known under different names  However, it has always been predominantly oriented towards trade and industry getting students ready for life and work

Food related trades: Baker, Butcher Building industry trades: Bricklayer, Carpenter, Stonemason, Floor and Wall Tiler, Fibrous Plasterer, Building Machine Operator, Roof Tiler Personal and other services: Hairdresser, Manicurist & Pedicurist, Beautician, Painter and Decorator, Car Polisher, Photographer, Florist 4 Year courses: Building /Architecure Tehnician
