Plans for the Future KIRA currently has $600 million awaiting award KIRA is scheduled to bid an additional $800 million in 2014 KIRA has a goal of bidding at least 20 small business contracts with an aggregate value of $1 billion in 2015 These teams will all be formed six months prior to the RFP release

KIRA is considering buying portfolios of existing contracts from other large businesses KIRA is currently in negotiations with a large engineering company to buy their contracts as they begin to think about retirement KIRA is considering possibly merging with an ANC in the future, or starting on ESOP plan, as Carlos Garcia approaches retirement
