Julius Caesar Gaius Julius Caesar was born in around 100BC. He always dreamed of being powerful and in 59BC became consul – the highest position in Rome, but… The position of consul only lasted a year He had to share power with Crassus and Pompey How would you describe Caesar’s personality?
