Flag and Symbols Cuba’s Flag Tocororo is the Cuban bird Cuba’s Shield Cuba’s Flower the White Mariposa Royal Palm Tree is Cuba’s Tree

History of the flag The three blue stripes are the symbols of the original three provinces. The triangle is a symbol, here signifying liberty, equality. The red color is for the blood sacrificed by the Cuban patriots.

The language they speak is Spanish! Language and Religion The language they speak is Spanish! The religion of Cuba is mainly Catholic.

Population The population of Cuba is 11,087,330 (as of July 2011.)

Cuba’s capital city is Havana. This is the capital building in Havana

Climate The climate/ temperature of Cuba/ average is minimum temperature is 21° C (70° F ), the average maximum 27° C (81°).
