Lab Activity: Determining Blood Type
Crime report At 1:00 am on November 2, 2014, a thief breaks a window in the back of a restaurant and robs the safe. Blood was recovered from the broken glass. In a search of the neighborhood, 3 suspects were found that had recent cuts or injuries. Each suspect was tested for blood type. You need to test the blood recovered from the scene and identify the thief.
Step 1: Obtain a test plate. Place a drop of blood in well A and B.
Step 2: Add a drop of Anti-A serum to well A and stir with toothpick. Step 3: Add a drop of Anti-B serum to well B and stir with toothpick.
