SEE Programme Operational Programme approved in December 2007 Four programme priorities: Innovation, Environment, Accessibility, Sustainable Growth Areas Funding from different financial instruments: – ERDF (European Regional Development Fund), – IPA (Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance) – and potentially ENPI (European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument). – Together with the national contributions, the overall budget amounts to approximately 245 mil. euro 16 participant countries: the transnational programme which gathers the biggest number of countries!!!!!

The Beneficiaries Two calls launched so far : – First call: launched in may 2008 – projects approved in March projects selected which amount to euro. More than 500 partners from the 16 countries The size of the projects ranges between 1 and 5 million euro. The projects are covering all project priorities – Second call: ongoing ( application phase); the second step will be launched soon – 60 projects invited out of 600 – list already available on the website: europe.net/en/news_and_events/news/projectsinvitedtosubmitanapplicationform europe.net/en/news_and_events/news/projectsinvitedtosubmitanapplicationform

Our goals Transparency – Conformity with regulation (for both the programme and the projects, it is a condition of funding that their details appear on the list) – Programme vision (included in communication strategy) Efficiency – Getting the most out of the projects – Presenting the projects in an attractive way – Maximize impact: make the list a communication tool! – Provide a versatile, easy to use, accessible and comprehensive tool

The beneficiaries (approved projects) Obligatory (for both the Programme and the projects) Accessible – Direct link from the home page ( from the main content area as well as from the projects menu) Versatile – For external users can be accessed both as a database and in downloadable list format (pdf); the database can be exported as well from the admin interface in xls format. – Multipurpose search by: call, country, theme, by lead partner – get the information you need ! Comprehensive – The database provides all basic information about the project (going beyond the regulation requirements) and contains a link to the project websites. communication added value: use of logos and websites.
