16 weeks: 1 school semester Coaches: o Cenovus staff from all levels o Trained in 3 strength-based training sessions o Peer support pods Young Leaders: o From Discovering Choices o Weekly classroom sessions with ITL facilitator Relationship: Coaches and Young Leaders connect one-to-one Volunteering: All Coaches and Young Leaders get together once a month and volunteer in the community Project: At the end of the semester all YL’s complete a project that contributes in some way to the community. Graduation: A celebration of Young Leaders & Coaches with parents, teachers, friends, family and community
