What is Skillnets Ltd? Skillnets is a state-funded enterprise-led support body, that promotes and facilitates training and up-skilling of workers and job-seekers. Skillnet Requires Data (only used by Skillnet Ltd): To show we are reaching our outcomes profile forms for all participants; To get your view on the courses evaluations forms for all participants; Drop-in visits from Skillnet or Trade Union Skillnet (TUS) on courses. Survey Interviews (only used by Skillnet Ltd – reports anonymous); Evaluation Co. hired by Skillnet, covers all projects, offering training in all sectors, all over Ireland. Pick a random sample of participants and may ring or you or your supervisor (contact details requested on form – your choice) with a set of questions to validate your attendance, your views of the training you received and how you have applied it on your workplace. Priority of 7 Union Organisations in TUS TNP: To maximise our impact on the preservation of jobs and the sustainability of enterprises in the various sectors represented, and to transfer the learning to other sectors that are vulnerable to job losses. JSSP: To ensure jobseekers gain valuable training and work experience that they otherwise would not have had access to and build strong relationships with good employers CENTRES FOR THE UNEMPLOYED 6

TUS Aims To improve skills and enhance employability for the employed and unemployed in those sectors by providing opportunities for up-skilling, cross-skilling and re-skilling for workers; To enhance trade union representative skills in negotiation, reaching agreement and managing change processes in the workplace; To enhance the capacity of women to undertake leadership roles in the workplace. 7
