Social Impacts Everson Farrell was one of 292 refugees who went to the USA from Montserrat. Everson arrived with nothing and now runs a small garage.

Economic Impacts The eruptions have made the islands capital Plymouth uninhabitable. Many industries and business’s were lost. The main industry on the island was tourism.
