Social Injustice: Child Soldiers By: Diana Pinho

Child Soldiers  Child soldiers are young children who are forced to fight in wars  Affects young children and their families  In the article the Ugandan government says that Keitetsi is lying and that she was never even in the war

Causes and Factors  Abusive family -Father beat her -Grandmother beat her -Tried to poison her step mom and stepbrothers  Joined the rebel movement

Results  Raped by her fellow soldiers and commanders -1 son and 1 daughter, in Africa somewhere  Fled Uganda and went to seek refuge in Denmark

Why was the topic interesting?  To see how other countries treat their children and what they’re forced to do  Compare Uganda to the U.S, and how lucky and blessed we children are
