Hypothesis If I drop a ball from a high point then, it well bounce higher than if dropped from a lower height.

Materials and Procedures Materials Foam balls Timer (phone) Ladder Pen and Paper Procedure Position a ladder at the site of the experiment. Drop a ball three times (one at a time) from a height of 5ft, record rate of fall. Drop a ball three times (one at a time) from a height of 8ft, record rate of fall. compare results

Conclusion It turn out that my hypothesis was indeed correct, that the higher the ball fell the more time it took for it to land.

Hypothesis If my research is correct, I think that wind will affect the landing time of a ball.

Materials and procedures Materials Ball fan Procedures Place a fan in the mid point of the ball’s falling distance. Drop ball from 6 ft on low(fan speeds), then medium, and high. Repeat 3 times. Record time of fall and average.

conclusion It turns out that the speed of the fan did affect the time it took the ball to hit the ground.
