Homework also can teach students about skill that is not include in their curriculum. Cooper, Robinson, and Patall (2006) Research: second graders which is by age is from five to nine years old should finish only 10 to 20 minutes of homework a day third to sixth graders which is by age is 8 to 11 years old should only get to spend time for homework not more than 30 to 60 minutes a day.

Parents should play a very important role in ensuring the homework that the school gives to their children Supporting point: Kralovec and Buell (2001) note that homework critics rarely question the work assigned but rather the fact that the work is so often performed at home without adult supervision to aid the learning process. According to kohn to know about a good quality homework or not is by asking two important question which is the first question does the homework make kids more inspirit about the topic and also learning in general while the second question does the homework assist students to think more deeply about the topic Opinion: 1.Parent should know school policy in giving homework. 2. Parents should always participate in their children learning process

CONCLUSION: 1.Teacher should monitor the type of homework that they want to assign to their students so that the effort that their student put to finish the homework is not been wasted 2.Homework is very useful if it been giving in the right time spent at appropriate level of students. 3. To change the system from the traditional method to new method which is no homework policy need to be carefully plan so that the implementation of the plan can be successful. 4.Parents and teacher are an important people in student learning development.
