Hieroglyphics Hieroglyphics, or ancient Egyptian picture messages, have given archaeologists much information about life in Egypt in centuries past, but there were actually several forms of writing used in Egypt, even in ancient times. Read about the Rosetta Stone to learn more about how archaeologists know so much about ancient Egyptian life and culture. Read the article at this URL and summarize it in the space on the next slide. Be sure to include the important facts, but not every detail.
