Battle of Appomattox Courthouse! This Battle became the end of the civil war on April 9 th, 1865, when General Lee surrendered. The morning of April 9 th, General Lee’s troops attacked a portion of General Grant’s troops with success. They then were surprised by the remaining of Grant’s troops, and were forced to surrender due to being out numbered.

How Civil War effected America’s Future!!! Ever think what would Happen if the confederate won the Civil War?: Slavery would have continued!? Their would have most likely been more wars and laws due to the fact some people did believe in slavery (people against slavery are abolitionist’s). We probably not be as big a country that we are today because I think that most states would secede and stay seceded, and eventually form their own country.
