The element I chose was silver. Its symbol it Ag. The atomic number is 47 and the atomic mass is The symbol Ag came from the Latin word argentums.

 no one really knows who was the founder of silver and where. But people found clues that it was first found in Anatolia which is Turkey during the 4000 bc. Men usually found it near earths surface.

 In the olden days metal was used for utensils because its anti bacterial and a metal spoon would not have harmfully bacteria for example that’s on a wooden spoon. It was also used as utensils because it was easy to make.

 People used silver for medical reasons in the ancient civilizations in Rome and Greece to control body infections and to heal wounds. In the 16 th century a Swiss physician used silver and other elements as medicine. It was also a very popular treatment in the middle east for ailments and cardiovascular diseases.

 People say that there are some silver in our clothing because as I said before silver kills bacteria and so its not a bad idea to have silver in our clothing so it would be bacteria free.

 Silver was first started to be used as coins in Greek. A lot of people these days collect coins that are very old because there are different types of coins with different types of symbols on them depending on where its from.

 The color of silver is usually around the colors black and grey. Its shiny, different types of silver might have different colors.
