“Forensic artist must have faith. Faith is Is believing in something you cannot see. We have to draw a face that we cannot see, and have faith in the witness’ memory. - Lois Gibson

No formal training No set background Ability to draw and see Most forensic artist are police men first One to three week training Courses

‘The Worlds Most Successful Forensic Artist’ Lois works for the Houston Police department. She is one of the most respected forensic artists, and facial experts in the world. “99% of forensic art work is sketching a face from the description given by a witness of their memory of that face, the face of the person who committed the crime,” says Lois.

A homicide victim whose remains were found 42 years ago in a creek bed. Disappeared from Forth Worth at the age 35. It was difficult to identify the victim, because of missing remains so hey were put away for 4 decades. Dr. Dana Austin reopened the case and claimed that he died from two gunshot wounds. Suzanne Baldon made a facial reconstruction of Glaze and sent it out to the media. Family members then came forward and indentified the victim as Kenneth Glaze.
