Get patient to bite onto cotton wool

Gently remove brackets with wire in-situ

DON’T SQUEEZE!

Grip and rotate

Appliance removed in one section

Need to remove excess cement using series of polishing burs

Polishing Sequence  Remove gross composite cement with fine polishing diamond or 8-fluted tungsten carbide Bur  Remove remainder composite with high speed white stone  Slow speed white stone – remove superficial scratches  Rubber disc/cone for final polishing  +/- diamond polishing paste
