Equipment Headset Microphone Target, Staples, Walmart, etc. $12-$75 Recommend purchasing a microphone that has a noise cancellation feature (to block out external noises like cars driving by, dog barking, etc.)

Equipment (optional) To handwrite using digital ink, use a pen tablet (pen mouse) or a Tablet PC. I recommend the Wacom Intuos line Wacom Intuos5 Touch Small Pen Tablet - $215 Wacom Intuos5 Touch Medium Pen Tablet - $341 (I use Wacom Intuous 3 – refurbished tablets are great too)
