 Child labor is a big problem in Afghanistan.  Children are being employed at ages  Girls have to face discrimination because of there gender.  Boys are forced to work unpaid jobs like,  Child care  Cleaning  Collecting water and oil  Families and children are insecure because food prices are going up.

 There’s more then 5.4 million children getting an education.  Many schools were destroyed because of the soviet union war and civil war.  Girls weren’t allowed to learn because of the Taliban’s.  In 2001 when the Taliban’s left more kids went back to school.  A constitution in Afghanistan is that education is available to everyone and when the child reaches a certain level it is free.

 Long shirts are very popular in Afghanistan and are worn all over.  Boys sometimes wear there pants in a baggy style.  Soccer players are required to wear long shirts and pants because they aren’t allowed to show skin.  A vintage item is the suede coat which can be made for someone small.  The suede coat is embroidered with sheep skin even in the arms.

 Some religion in Afghanistan are  Islam  Christianity  Judaism  Hinduism  Buddhism  In Afghanistan there are some villages that allow children to be taught religion.  Also some villages allow children to lead Friday night prayers.

 Kids ages 6-12 would go to primary school for 6 years.  Children ages 7-13 would go to middle school.  would go to high school.  would go to Baccaluria and then get a diploma.  Grades 7 to 9 study middle school level and 10 to 12 study high school level.

 Privet schools is where middle class families are able to send there kids.  Lower class families either send them to public school or not at all.  Privet schools have high values like;  Nursery school education  Tough interviews  Long class hours  Lots of homework  High tuition  50% of kids ages 6-14 actually go to school.

 Pre-Primary is for ages 3-5 and they study at a lower and higher kindergarten grade learning to;  Read  Write basic words  Primary school is for ages 6-11 and they study first to fifth grade.  Middle school is for sixth to eighth graders.  Secondary is ninth and tenth graders.  High secondary is eleventh and twelfth graders.  Undergraduate is for completing college.

 For boys and girls their clothing styles differs from there religion.  There are varieties of boy costumes worn for;  Special occasions  Religion’s  Age  Dresses were traditionally worn by girls in India but can also wear skirts and suites.  Teenagers now a day could be seen wearing western clothing like;  Jeans  T-shirts  Skirts

 Kurta Pajamas are long shirts worn at knee length and are worn on special occasions like;  Weddings  Festivals  Performances  Salwar Kameez is a loose pajama that is very traditional.  It is wide at the top and narrow towards the bottom.  Choli Sharara is worn by boys and girls during;  Weddings  Ceremonies  Special occasions

 Some Religions in India are;  Hinduism  Buddhism  Jainism  There’s about 80% of Hindu’s in India.  Hinduism is a very colorful religion that believes in may god’s and goddesses like;  Gonesh  Surya  Ganga Ma  Braham  Vishnu  Hinduism was developed around 5000 years ago.  Buddhism and Jainism had developed around 500 B.C.
