Prayer of Faith

Life is made up of sorrow and joy, of sickness and health, and failures and triumphs. What does a person of faith do with an unpredictable life? – James 5:13 Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. A person of faith pray and praise God in all circumstances in life. Acknowledge Him in everything.

The big test of faith is when you are really sick. – James 5:14 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. Out of faith, you should call church elders, and they should come in person and pray for God to heal you. – 1 cor 12:9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit – James 4:15 “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that”

Sin can have a lot to do with the sickness. People of faith confess and pray with each other. – James 5:15b If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. – Psalm 32:3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me. – 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

God can work His mighty power through an ordinary person like you when you pray in faith. – James 5:17 Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
