Biomedical engineering Chiquita Gaines September 20, 2012

definition Biomedical engineering studies biology and medicine to develop technologies related to healthcare.

Biomedical effect on us! As a biomedical engineer, you’ll make a real difference in other lives. For examples: You might develop artificial lenses that restore sight to the blind. Radiation treatments that fight cancer. Incubators that keep premature babies alive.

What does biomedical engineers develop? They develop medical diagnostic machines, medical instruments, artificial organs, joint replacement, and prosthetics devices (plastic surgery).

Salary Biomedical engineers earned an average salary of $84,780 in Engineering managers earned $125,900. Overall, employers of biomedical engineers, scientific research and development is the highest-paying, with a salary average of $93,930.

conclusion Biomedical engineering have a lot to do with our lives today. Rapid advances in Biomedical engineering will probably continue throughout our lifetime.
