THE BATTLE OF DUBLIN The Battle lasted from 28 June to 5 July 1922. It marked the beginning of the Irish Civil War, which ended in 1923.

FROM THE REPUBLIC IRELAND UNTIL TODAY The Troubles with the Ulster were not solved. The birth of UVF (Ulster Volunteer Force). The UVF organized many attacks. The Battle of the Bogside (12-14 August 1969). Sunningdale Agreement in 1972. Refuse of Sunningdale Agreement and successive huge strikes. Ceasefires in 1994 between Loyalist and Republican paramilitaries.

FROM THE REPUBLIC IRELAND UNTIL TODAY IRA continued to commit attacks. Good Friday Agreement in 1997 momentarily stopped the attacks. Nevertheless IRA keeped on dropping bombs. Today IRA lost its control over the nationalists and it is now just a small group of violents.
