Youth 2 -Youth Helping Youth

Origin of Youth 2 She wanted to promote creative community service opportunities among youth in Saratoga county. People gave monetary gifts totaling $7,000 to the organization for her birthday. From these funds, Youth 2 was born!

Our Mission is..  To engage young people:  To think about issues that they care about  To create and design their own volunteer, social awareness, or fundraising projects  To help youth locally or globally

Youth 2 is committed to giving financial and thoughtful support to help interested young people turn their ideas into realities

What is a grant?  A grant is a gift of money awarded to an individual who wishes to turn a community service idea into a reality.  Youth 2 has given out 27 $ grants to date to youth applicants ages 22 and younger who reside in Saratoga county.  The grants can be written to help youth ANYWHERE in the world

To help get youth connected with community service, Youth 2 has: FHosted three “Community Giving Fairs” – these fairs have taught children about the value of giving back to both the local and global community

The Book of Good Deeds FCreated the “Book of Good Deeds”-This booklet lists existing human service agencies and organizations, arts, and cultural centers and schools- facilitated community service clubs in which youth can get involved.

Our Latest Accomplishment: The Community Service Incentive Award was just recently given to two deserving high school students who showed outstanding excellence in their achievements of community service in and around the Saratoga Springs county.
