I am Cleopatra By: Makayla Donadio

I was born in 69 BCE. My full name is Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator. I was born in the city of Alexandria, Egypt. I was Egypt’s first Greek queen. Birth date and place

Family members #1 My mother’s name was Cleopatra VI. My father’s name was Ptolemy XII Auletes. I am the 4x great granddaughter of General Ptolemy. He then became the King of Asia. My father Ptolemy XII died in 51 BC. I also had a sister named Arsinoë, who was murdered on Marc Anthony’s orders in 41 BC.

Family members #2 My 2 husbands were Julius Ceasar and Marc Anthony. Ceasar and I had a son and we named him Ceasarion. He was born in 47 B.C. Marc and I had twins named Alexander Helios and Cleopatra Selene. Ceasar died in 44 B.C. Marc died a few days apart from me. Later on, Ceasarion was murdered by Octavian. He was murdered because Octavian wanted to be the sole ruler of Egypt. It is believed that he was strangled to death. Julius Ceasar Marc Anthony

Childhood and school life My brother Ptolemy XIII and I were very rich and spoiled throughout our lives. We wore all of the finest jewels and clothes. We ate the best food in all of Egypt. Throughout my life I was trained in science and literature. I learned many languages such as fluent Greek. Egyptian Alphabet Ptolemy XIII

Interests and activities In the Egyptian religion I was considered a goddess. I had loved to play all different types of instruments. Science was one of my beloved talents as well as being able to speak many languages. I always loved puns and jokes and I was a humorous woman. An Egyptian Instrument Greek Alphabet

my reason for fame I have fought in many wars throughout my life. Most of my wars I was accompanied by Ceasar. One of my wars was against Octavian and I had lost. I participated in the war of Alexandria. The Battle of Actium was extremely rough. It was the last war of the Roman Republic. After the war, Octavian took place as the first Roman emperor. I was the last ruler of the Macedonian dynasty. I was also the most famous female emperor of Egypt. I was famous for being married to Julius Ceasar and Marc Anthony. After the war, my dear Ceasarion was murdered on Octavian’s orders because he wanted to be the ruler, not Ceasarion. I was very famous because I was considered the most beautiful woman in all of Egypt. I was an Egyptian goddess.

My death I died in 30 B.C. I was the last ruler of the Macedonian dynasty. I was 39 years old. I committed suicide by an asp because I didn’t want to be captured by Octavian and have to surrender. Marc Anthony and I died few days apart.

My Death picture Here Marc Anthony is coming into the room when he heard that I was pronounced dead. One of my servants also lays dead at my feet.

This is a picture of me. I was very beautiful wasn’t I! In fact, I was said to be the most beautiful woman in Egypt.
