About SheepShaver SheepShaver is an Open Source PowerPC MacOS runtime environment developped by Gwénolé Beauchesne, which runs MacOS thru MacOS on the following platforms: Linux (i386, ppc, x86_64), MacOS X (i386, ppc), Darwin, NetBSD 2.0, FreeBSD 5.3 and Windows for x86. You will need an OS ROM from Mac.. This ROM can be found on any Mac OS 8 or 9 install CD; see also numerous forums on this subject.. See: for more info… Installing SheepShaver under Windows XP
