What is the Sequence? There are 6 different sequential numbers ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ Each number is between 145-190 (that means each number starts in the 100’s) The first number is a prime number after 149. The fourth number ends in the double digit 6 The second number can be read as 1 hundred, 5 tens and 6 ones. The third number is 10 more then the first number The fifth number is 20 more then the first number The sixth number ends in an even number. Prime Numbers Chart- http://www.mathsisfun.com/prime_numbers.html What are the numbers? What is the sequence pattern?   151, 156, 161, 166, 171, 186

What is the Number Sequence? There are 6 different sequential numbers ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ Each number is between 200-270 If you multiply the first number by 2 it will equal 410 The third number is a prime number after 227 The fourth number is also a prime number after 239 The second and fifth number end in 2 odd numbers The last number is 60 more than the first number 205, 217, 229, 241, 253, 265 (Going up by 12)

Predict: How would you find the area of an irregular shape?

W.A.L.T- How you find the Area of an irregular shape. The trick: break these figures into shapes (example: smaller rectangles or squares).   Rectangle #2 Rectangle #1 ? ? ? ?

Steps: Divide the figure into two rectangles and find all missing lengths. When you divide the irregular shape into smaller/larger rectangles you use the given measurements in each rectangle and SUBTRACT or ADD the figures to find the missing area depending on the shape. (Example: 6-2=4, 3+4=7)   The larger rectangle has an area of: 4cm x 7cm = 28cm2 The smaller rectangle has an area of: 4cm x 2cm = 8cm2 Now we add both of these answers together to find the total area of the irregular shape: 28cm2 + 8cm2 = 36cm2 Therefore the total area of the irregular shape is 36cm2 6-2=4cm 3+4=7cm

What is the Area?

What is the number sequence? There are 6 different sequential numbers ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ ____ Each number is between 220-299 If you multiply the first number by 2 it will equal 504 If you multiply 20x13, it will give you the second number Numbers 1,3,4,5 and 6 all end in an even number The last number is 24 more than the third number No numbers are prime The fourth number is the number before prime number 277 To find out the fifth number you need to work out this subtraction: 700 – 68 – 90 – 45 – 200 – 13 = ? 252, 260, 268, 276, 284, 292 (Going up by 8)
