My visit to Canada

My first day at Canada In Canada there are about 35 million citizens! That is quite a lot of citizens. The currency that Canadians use is coins and paper bills. B.C , Alberta , Saskatchewan , Manitoba , New Brunswick , Nova Scotia , The P.E.I , Nunavut , Yukon and northwest territories. That's 10 places to go! Also Canada is this big! :9,984,670 km2 (that’s bigger than the U.S!) Canada's weather is usually rainy , sunny or snowy.

Day 2 Canada's main languages are: English and French. Our houses tend to be 1-3 stories for the typical house, wile some are 13-50 or more! (not typical these are skyscrapers) Also Canadians are good architects! The typical greetings are : “hi” and “hello”

Day 3 At school we learn about science , social studies , math , spelling , grammar and other subjects. We often play hockey and other sports.

Day 4 Canadians celebrate the pacific national exhibition in Canada we The exhibition has been held in Hastings Park since the exhibition first took place in 1910. It was opened by then Prime Minister Sir Wilfrid Laurier as the Industrial Exhibition. The biggest attractions of the two-week fair are its numerous shops, stalls, performances, a nightly fireworks show. And another thing that Canadians celebrate is Canada day, Canada day is a celebration to honor Canada's creation.

Day 5 Hockey is Canada's main sport. The equipment that you would need to play hockey are: a helmet, a puck, and a hockey stick. The rules are: there is a time limit that your team tries to score points by getting the puck in the other teams goal, but the other team will try to score points to! That’s were your goalie comes in handy. The goalie is there to block the other teams shots, but as you know, the other team also has a goalie.

Day 6 One of Canada's landmarks is the CN tower, located in Ontario, Toronto. Did you know that the name “CN” stands for Canadian Nationality? The reason the CN tower was built was because the CNR (Canadian Nationality Railway) wanted to have a large TV and radio station.

Day 7 Canada's well known foods include: Poutine , bacon and maple syrup. But do you know that ketchup flavored potato chips are a Canadian exclusive? The menu that I would make would be: Breakfast: pancakes with Canadian bacon and maple syrup Lunch: poutine with a lays ketchup potato chips Dinner: A burger with some potine.

Day 8 Carving totem poles is one traditional art that native Canadians are known for. Colin James is a great Canadian musician, but he isn’t that famous.

Day 9 Some plants and animals I saw on my trip include: the beaver, moose , maple tree, fir tree and tons of others animals and plants!

My last day at Canada Well, this is my last journal entry the stuff I liked about Canada: The food is great here!, and its a lot more peaceful at Canada than the U.S.A! so goodbye Canada and hello to the U.S.A  But I like Canada and want to move here!
