LAPTOPS 101 Pay Attention because you will be quizzed on this information!!!

How to get your laptop: ● You are responsible for the laptop number that you are assigned. ● Each class period has “Laptop Monitors”. Those LM will take the laptops off the cart and hand them to you. ● Students will go up to get their laptops in small groups- not all at once. Listen for your number to be called.

Your laptop should sit nicely, on the center of your desk.

At the end of the period ● You are going to LOG OFF, not shut down- Unless your teacher tells you to shut down

At the end of the period ● Once you LOG OFF, close the laptop nicely. Do not slam shut. ●Make sure the light is off before you close the lid ● Bring your laptop to your Laptop Monitor when your number is called at the end of the period. ●Updates- Update table

When putting laptops away…. ● Laptop Monitors will stand at cart and be in charge of making sure each laptop is plugged in correctly. ● You must hand your laptop to the Laptop Monitor- do NOT just leave the laptop on the cart.
