Getting Started Identify the purpose of your screencast. Identify your audience. Storyboard or pre-write your lesson. This is a must!!! Clear your desktop of anything that could be distracting. Recording Your Lesson Give your lesson in short chunks. Determine if you need transition slides. Recording an opening slide is a nice touch. Read through your script a few times before you record.
