The Planet Mercury is the closest planet to our sun and is the smallest planet in the solar system. This was the name of the Roman god of trade, merchants, and travelers, later equated with the Greek god Hermes. This is also the name of the first planet in the solar system. Mercury is the first planet of our solar system and it is next to the sun. Mercury characteristics it has 2 sides once that is very hot that facing to the sun and one is very cold in facing opposites ways.

Venus is the second planet from the sun, orbiting it every Earth days. The planet is named after the roman goddess of love and beauty. After the moon, it is the brightest natural object in the night sky, reaching an apparent magnitude of −4.6, bright enough to cast shadows

Earth is a small, rocky planet which supports a variety of life! As far as we know, Earth is unique from all other planets. Earth is the 3 rd planet from the sun, and the densest, 5 th largest of the 8 planets in the Solar System. Earth is also the largest of the 4 terrestrial planets. It is sometimes called the blue planet because of its color or its latin name Terra. Earth formed approximately 4.54 billions years ago by accretion. In astronomy mythology, Earth’s Greek name was Gaea. Earth was the mother of the mountains, valleys, streams and all other land formations. She was married to Uranus, and had a baby name Saturn.

Mars name is after the Greek God of war Martius and Martialis.. Mars were called the red planet because most of the rock in Mars in red so that’s why Mars is called the red planet. Planet Mars is called Mars because the name is after the Greek god of war. It is also called the red planet because of it’s reddish, iron-rich soil.

Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest planet within the Solar System. One of the storm is called the Great Red Spot Jupiter is classified as a gas giant along with Saturn, Uranus and Neptune but it is the biggest of the gas giant and Jupiter have stronger winds and storms than Earth. Together, these four planets are sometimes called as the Jovian or outer planets. Jupiter was named after the Roman God Jupiter which mean the Kings Of God in Latin. It was named Jupiter because of it’s size that is gigantic. So people called it Jupiter.

Planet Saturn Name is from the roman god of agriculture. Saturn are also called the gas Giants. Saturn is the second biggest planet on the solar system. Saturn is also famous because of its rings the rings of Saturn are made of mostly rocks and ice in Saturn there are like Moon’s. Saturn was the last planet that can been seen without a telescope and the condition in saturn is really cold probably because of the ice clouds that turn it to water

Uranus is a gas giant. But Uranus is a little different. Unlike all the other planets and most of the moons in our Solar System, Uranus spins on its side. It is believed that long ago a very large object smashed into this planet. The crash was so powerful that it completely changed the direction of Uranus' planetary rotation. In astronomy mythology, Uranus was the lord of the skies and husband of Earth. He was also the king of the gods until he was overthrown by his son Saturn.

Neptune is the eighth planet in our solar system. It is the farthest planet from the sun. It is the fourth largest planet in the solar system, and is the third heaviest Neptune is named the God of sea in the Roman Mythology, and their moons are all named after minor God of Sea from the Greek and Roman mythology.

Galaxy is the result of more than billions of star combining themselves into shapes that is now known as galaxy. It is a collection of stars, gas, and dust combine together because of gravity. There are kinds of galaxies that are: Milky way Antromeda galaxy Sun flower galaxy Spiral galaxy Irregular galaxy Eliptical galaxy

A star is a sphere that is held together by the force of gravity. It is sometimes seen from earth but it is very small because the distance is very far from a solar system to another. There are many stars such as: Sun R.Doradus VY Canis Majoris

The Sun was named sol after the ancient roman name. The Sun was born in a vast cloud of gas and dust around 5 billion years ago, when that happen, the Sun began to have light and energy and heat because of the spark of the rocks. The sun is the main source of light and heat, all of the planets need it for them to be warm instead of being very cold and freezing.

A comet is an icy small Solar System body (SSSB) that, when close enough to the Sun, displays a visible coma (a thin, fuzzy, temporary atmosphere) and sometimes also a tail. These phenomena are both due to the effects of solar radiation and the solar wind upon the nucleus of the comet. Comet nuclei range from a few hundred meters to tens of kilometers across and are composed of loose collections of ice, dust, and small rocky particles. Comets have been observed since ancient times and have traditionally been considered bad omens.

Asteroids are small, airless rocky, dry and dusty worlds revolving around the sun that are too small to be called planets, they also can be silicon based rock, some metals like nickel and iron, and carbon. They are also known as planetoids, planetoids is A planet which is the name given to objects in space of a planet, and which are larger than meteors.

The mass of moon is million kg. The shape of the moon was like an egg. Its orbit around the earth. The distance from earth is for km. The diameter is 3476 km ( ¼ of the Earth's). Moon revolution takes days. The moon orbital velocity takes km/sec. Since the pull of gravity on the Moon is only 17% the pull of gravity on the Earth, you’ll feel much lighter. Just imagine, if you weighed 100 kg on the Earth, you would feel like you only weighed 17 kg on Earth. You would be able to jump 6 times further and carry objects 6 times as heavy. In fact, you had wings attached to your arms, you could even fly around inside a dome on the Moon under just your own muscle power.

The celestial object which revolves round the earth; the satellite of the earth; a secondary planet, whose light, borrowed from the sun, is reflected to the earth, and serves to dispel the darkness of night. The diameter of the moon is 2,160 miles, its mean distance from the earth is 240,000 miles, and its mass is one eightieth that of the earth. See Lunar month, under Month.

Meteoroid is a sand to a boulder sized particle of debris in the solar system. The visible path of a meteoroids that enters Earth’s atmosphere is known as the meteor or its called as the shooting star or the falling star. If a meteoroids reach a ground and it survives by not destroyed into a sand it is called the meteorite

Size, mass, diameter and also weight : Mercury is the smallest planet in both mass and diameter. It is about 18 times less massive than Earth. With a diameter of about 3,032 miles 284 times your weight equals your weight on Mercury Temperature and time length: The sunlight on Mercury’s surface is 6.5 times as intense as it is on Earth due its closeness to the sun Rotation: The planet rotates once about every 59 Earth days, a rotation slower than that of any other planet except Venus. As a result of the planet's slow rotation on its axis and rapid movement around the sun, a day on Mercury lasts 176 Earth days (interval between one sunrise and the next). Mercury doesnt have any moons but Earth does have moons.
