English Literature How the course is structured: Controlled Assessment (25%): Compare a theme from a Shakespeare play to a selection of poems There will be two exams: 1.Modern Texts: TWO essay questions on ‘Of Mice and Men’ and ‘An Inspector Calls’(40%) 2.Poetry across time: (Comparative essay on two poems they will have studied from a cluster and an essay on an unseen poem (35%)
