Jahisha Ramirez silver

My chosen element is silver Silver got its name from the Anglo- Saxon word "siolfur" meaning "silver" (the origin of the symbol Ag comes from the Latin word "argentum" meaning "silver").

The symbol of silver on the periodic table is: Atomic Mass Atomic Number Atomic Symbol

You can find 47 protons, 61 neutrons, and 47 electrons in am atom of the element silver.

What are the physical properties of silver? Silver’s physical properties are:  Melting point: [or °C ( °F)] K  Boiling point: 2435 [or 2162 °C (3924 °F)] K  Density of solid: kg m-3

Is your element a metal, non- metal, metalloid, halogen, noble gas, etc? My element (silver) is a metalloid. Which means - being a nonmetallic element that has some of the properties of metal.

Where is silver found in nature?  Silver is found naturally by itself, as an alloy with gold or in an ore (a rock containing various metals and elements). Silver is often found in copper and lead ores.

What are some uses for this element? It is used in:  Coinage  Tableware  Jewelry  the fillings of teeth  A large amount of silver is used in photography

Video

Companies should buy silver from elemental industries because:  Great attractions of jewelry form  dental uses  photographers
