Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Established in 1967 Responsible for developing the regulations and procedures for all graduate programs. Oversees U of O scholarships, theses, postdoctoral fellowships, and other areas & provides guidance to faculties on all graduate and postdoctoral matters. FGPS Scholarships Admission Scholarship Graduate Scholarship - select programs only Other Funding and Awards

Admission Scholarship Master’s degree with thesis * Minimum CGPA of 8.0 / 10 (with the recommendation of the academic unit). $7,500 paid by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies per year. A matching component offered by the Academic Unit in form of Assistantship or soft-funded scholarship worth at least $7,500 per year. *Many programs offer more than the minimum in funding. For 2 years (non renewable) A total value of at least $30,000 * Available to Canadian citizens and permanent residents

Admission Scholarship Master’s degree with research paper or project * Minimum CGPA of 8.0 / 10 (with the recommendation of the academic unit) $7,500 paid by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. International Students Admission Scholarship There are 3 types of international admission scholarships: Full Scholarship: Minimum CGPA of 9.0 / 10 Full international tuition fees + RA’s or TA’s + yearly scholarship Differential Scholarship: Minimum CGPA of 8.0 / 10 International fees (you must pay the equivalent of Canadian tuition fees) + RA’s or TA’s + yearly scholarship Bourse internationale de la francophonie: Minimum CGPA of 8.0 / 10 Must demonstrate an active knowledge of French You must pay tuition fees of $2500 per year + you will receive RA’s or TA’s + yearly scholarship Minimum amounts for RA’s, TA’s and yearly scholarships are equivalent to the ones offered to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents

Graduate Scholarship Applies to students enrolled in the following programs: -Public and International Affairs (M.A.) -Master’s Program, School of Rehabilitation Sciences -Master’s of Human Kinetics program -MSc Nursing (course based program) This scholarship replaces the Admission Scholarship Eligible students can receive $2,000 per session for the duration of their studies

FGPS Awards & Support Excellence Scholarship Covers your tuition if you receive an external scholarship. This replaces the Admission Scholarship for those who have it. Dean’s Scholarship Gives you cash if you finish your Master’s degree in a given timeframe. Research Travel Grant * To conduct research towards a thesis (up to $550) Conference Travel Grant * Awarded to students presenting a paper at a professional conference (up to $550) On-Campus Student Conference Funding * To support student-organized on-campus conferences (up to $500) AND MORE! * For Master’s with Thesis students only

Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) All students who are thinking of pursuing graduate studies in an Ontario university are eligible to apply, including international students. Value: $15,000 ($10,000 from the Ministry and $5,000 from the host university) + Excellence Scholarship (this covers tuition fees only for the same period the OGS is held) Duration: One year (non-renewable) (you must submit a new application each year) Minimum CGPA of 8.0 / 10 (A-) 2,000 awards each year across Ontario 1,940 for Canadians Citizens & Permanent Residents 60 for International Students Deadline:Early October Complete Details:
