If you have not joined, please consider sending it in with your child today. The membership form can be found at under forms. The winners of the membership drive was... Kindergarten - Ms. Hall 1st Grade - Ms. Hsieh 2nd Grade - Ms. Smith 3rd Grade - Ms. Bataille 4th Grade - Ms. Aldridge 5th Grade - Ms. Martin These classes have all enjoyed an ice cream sundae party last week. The winning grade overall was FIFTH GRADE! They will be receiving playground equipment for each classroom next week. Thanks to all our PTA members. PTA REFLECTIONS CONTEST REMINDER Just a gentle reminder that the Reflections, Citizenship, and Safety Contest deadlines are fast approaching: Reflections (all categories): Due by Oct. 3 Citizenship Essay: Due by Oct. 10 Safety Poster: Due by Oct. 10 Please make sure the kids submit their entries into the Contest Collections cart on or by the deadlines stated above. For those that participate, there will be an awards ceremony to recognize the participants and winners. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation. There will be medals and certificates for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. The winners will be selected per category and grade division for the various contests. Also, the students could have an opportunity to compete at the County and State levels! It's a great opportunity to have the kids express their creativity and have a chance to win! The entry forms were sent home with the kids about 2 weeks ago. However, additional entry forms may be obtained from the front office, PTA website under the Resources tab under "Forms" or by contacting Anjali Doshi at ROOM PARENT MEETING Friday, October, 3 9 a.m. in the PTA room regarding information on carnival and trunk- or- treat. Thank you for the wonderful turnout to our last meeting. Yearbook Hey Parents: Don’t forget to bring your camera to all upcoming school events and take lots of photos to be included in the2014/2015 NES yearbook! No cell phone photos please. Then submit your pictures for consideration to community.lifetouch.com. Our school’s access code is ETDOET. Set up an account and upload as many photos as you like. Remember, all photos must be taken at school sponsored events. Thanks for your help! SEPTEMBER BOXTOP CONTEST September BOXTOP contest forms have been sent home. Please return this form no later than October 1st to be entered for this months contest. I will draw a winner for a $10 gift card to Academy Sports.
